Hi Familia!

I’m excited to bring to light one of the projects I have been working on for the last few months….

As a first-generation Latina with humble beginnings, I knew that I wanted to create a broader impact in my community. This desire fuels a lot of what I do, such as content creation and public speaking, but I wanted to create something that transcended my personal efforts.

I’m thrilled to introduce Generation Pionera.

This initiative is for:

• The kids who grew up without exposure and closeness to good role models.
• The first-generation kids who didn’t know how to navigate the US systems.
• The kids who grew up being the translators, IT support, and therapists for their families.
• The next generation of trailblazers and pioneers.

Generation Pionera was born out of a collection of ideas, including the creation of a speaker bureau and a nonprofit organization aimed at teaching students essential life skills that are often overlooked in traditional education. These skills encompass mental health, emotional intelligence, leadership, STEAM careers, and understanding the financial system. I know that, as time goes on, Generation Pionera will evolve and take on a beautiful form.

And guess what? We already had our first event! I’ll share more details about that in my next post.
