Hi, I’m Gina- a latina trailblazer. I’m on a mission to empower first generation students and professionals to take up space, think intentionally, and live an authentic life. Navigating an unknown world is perhaps the most challenging thing you will ever do, let's tackle it together! --
AS SEEN IN
My mission is to inspire First Gen Latinas, and other women of color to take up space. I spent 6 years in white-male dominated fields, where I was part of the 2% of Latinas in STEM + Tech.
Being the first one to navigate a new country comes with many challenges. Understanding the educational system, culture, financial system and corporate system is not something that is easy, especially when there is low representation of people like you in the spaces you are entering.
On top of figuring out all the nuances, many times, we also have a duty to guide, translate, and educate our immigrant parents and family. Maybe similar to my story where I came from a low-income household, that made $12,000 a year, all these challenges were magnified.
Sometimes reaching an educational and financial level of success that no one in your family has reached can be isolating, and take a toll on your mental health, like it did to me. Navigating two worlds and sets of values and expectations can make it difficult to decipher and formulate your own values and understanding your place in the world.
There are many unspoken rules navigating this new systems that no one tells us about, and I am here to share everything I know to make as many First Gen as successful as they want to be. Through education, mentoring, books, and programs I was able to understand what it took to be successful. I want to close that knowledge gap. It is my duty and honor to share my story with you!

Navigating two worlds and sets of values and expectations can make it difficult to decipher and showcase your own values and understand your place in the world. This is why I am giving others permission to show up in their truth and Latinidad. As a first generation Mexican American, I consider myself 100% American and 100% Mexican. My goal is to set you up for career, financial and life success. It is a tough line balancing your heritage and life desires, let’s take up space and cross generational boundaries.
